Taken circa 1965/66/67/68 at York.
If I remember right, 60019 Bittern was the only loco on shed that day.
If I'm not mistaken, this roundhouse is now the main display building of the National railway Museum.
Myself and a friend found that you could just walk into most of the sheds in the north east, and the ones where you couldn't, we knew who to ask, and I think we were only ever refused twice,and that was because there were hob-nobs in.
