Lightning just offby *holzernes-herz

Taken around about 1980 at Teeside Air Show, Middleton St. George, (now Durham Tees Airport).

Paul "gadzooks1985" asked if I had any old photographs of Lightnings, and as luck would have it, I scanned these in the early hours of this morning.

English Electric Lightning F3 just about 2 feet off the ground.

The Lightning is the only all British supersonic production aircraft. There have been other all British supersonic aircraft, but they were only prototypes.

Thanks very much, and it was all done with single shot and rewind. The cameras I had then had no multi-shot facility, and I couldn't afford a motor-drive.
