The Morris Minor was styled by the same man that created the Mini, Alex Isigonis. Exactly why it had such a bulbous bonnet (hood) is a mystery to me, because the engine was tiny in comparison.
In later years, people refitted these cars with V8 engines, because there was plenty of room, both width and height.
